With almost 20 years of combined experience in both Massage Therapy and Esthetics, I have worked primarily in a luxury spas and hotels but I have a strong medical background working alongside chiropractors, physical therapist as well as holistic practices such as acupuncturist and fellow estheticians.
The purpose for creating Massage with Melinda is to extend my personal approach to health and beauty for those who cannot access it otherwise. I believe when you help yourself you help the world. Being able to control my office, hours and space so I can help people from all backgrounds and walks of life feel the benefits of massage therapy is my ultimate goal.

TWO HOUR MASSAGE
MEDICAL MASSAGE
Every body is different. All bodies don't immediately open up and allow help to flow in within 15-30 minutes. Would you like a true, unrushed, focused, head to toe full body experience where your body becomes in tune with breathing, you feel your body release from the restriction or just tense stance you carry out of habit daily? We offer a two hour massage that will hit the reset button and open your outlook and view on the benefits of massage, time and following the flow of the body. Are you ready?
Are you interested in MEDICAL MASSAGE? Here at Massage with Melinda our approach to medical massage is to focus on you as a whole but piece by piece. We will listen to your words, assess what your body relays to our hands and customize a guided approach to decrease the injury, pain and discomfort. The goal with medical massage is for you to feel relief longer after each session and increased movement to the point if you need to return it's for maintenance or therapeutic purposes only. Medical is not to be confused with therapeutic, you may feel discomfort and soreness as your body adjust to rebuilding as close to "normal" as possible. Sometimes you have to go through it to get to it and it doesn't feel the greatest. We do not provide the extreme pressure approach. We focus layer by layer. Please understand the first 30-90 days of consistent appointments are integral for your improvement.
THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
A targeted massage that addresses specific areas of pain or tension, like neck or back pain. It may include techniques such as deep tissue work, hot stones, cupping, or other tools to help relieve discomfort and improve mobility. This is not necessarily a full-body massage—it focuses on the areas that need the most attention in the time given. This is different from medical because it is not injury or physical trauma focused. This massage falls under maintenance massage, mental, emotional and physical decompression massage. Basically relaxation with the focus of spot specific relief. Each massage is customized every session to give you the ultimate experience with the goal to provide the best relief one session at a time. Packages are available.
MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
We are trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage. This massage is important and beneficial for EVERYONE. Many are miseducated on this massage or think it is too light for their liking but the health benefits are immediate and noticeable. Starting a detox journey? Inflamed? Constipated? Before or after surgery? Many surgeons will recommend MLD before surgery to help with optimal outcomes. Many clients seek MLD after surgery to help their lymphatic system clear easier while it rebuilds if damaged during surgery. Many body contourist will send clients to be taught or educated because if you're receiving services that need the body to expel certain things but your lymphatic system is blocked you may experience side effects such as nausea, stomach aches, fatigue and more. That could be a result of your body being backed up and not properly opened to allow the necessary components that were released out. Insurance
**UPDATE: Soon Univera and approved Veterans will be accepted at our location. For other insurances we can provide you with a superbill that you can send to your insurance for reimbursement. There are sliding fees for certain insurances please inquire with our office. No fault is not currently accepted.
First Appointments
If this is your first appointment it is very important to understand no treatment will be given without a completed intake form. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your session so we can provide you with help filling out your intake form. If paying by card your identification must match the debit/credit card. Cash is accepted. Checks are not.
Cancellation Policy
If for any reason you are unable to keep an appointment please notify us by phone or email at least 24-48 hours in advance of your scheduled session.
No refunds are given on retainers to secure your appointment. You can discuss with therapist your options for possible rescheduling. If therapist was booked for outpatient care and client is not at designated location or cancels, you are fully responsible for payment in full.
Exceptions are made for illness or extenuating circumstances such as force majeure and weather.
As therapists, this is our livelihood. A missed appointment is a loss to our therapists as well as our clients in need of care.
Late Policy
All late arrivals will end according to your scheduled start and stop time. Due to tightly booked schedules, we are unable to extend appointments beyond the originally specified time.
